Kathmandu:
Even before the eventual clash of the last survivors of Samsung Nepali Tara, participants have succeeded to acquire star value and craze in the public. Achyut KC of Navatara Pharmacy in Sinamangal has tenderly pasted photograph of Indira Joshi at the counter’s showcase. The photograph was published in Annapurna Post when Indira Joshi had made her way to the top 20 finalists. Said KC, “I am a music lover and I found her a brilliant singer.
I have become her fan. I will definitely vote for her when then public voting is announced.”
Apparently, Joshi seems to have bewitched the viewers even before she got selected for the top ten finalists. Madhu Prakash Khatiwada seems to have gone far ahead of KC who emailed that says, “I have lost my sleeps over her, waiting for her episode. If she is not selected for top ten, I will probably die of heart failure.”
The Saturday show will reveal whether she will be in or out of the race. Male contenders have also won ministardom so far. “I was stopped by a stranger on the road and he asked me for my autograph!” said an euphoric Dharmendra Sewan, who is already in the list of top ten. Top ten finalists Pushpa Poudel, Rupak Dotel, Jhuma Niraula and Sreejan Lwagoon have had similar experiences of strangers walking up to them for sharing a simple chat. They describe this as a heady experience, one that they never thought would happen to them in first person in their lives.
