KATHMANDU:

The denizens of Kathmandu can look forward to yet another foreign film festival — the Thai film festival from August 3-6. According to a press statement issued by the Thai embassy here, the festival will be held at the Russian Cultural Centre, Kamalpokhari and four contemporary Thai movies will be screened. All the films will have English subtitles.

The films that are being screened are from four different genres to cater the choices of the viewers. Admission is free and on a first-come first-served basis. The films will be screened at 5:30 pm each day.

Screenings:

August 3: The Overture (Drama)

August 4: Ong-Bak (Action)

August 5: Nang Nak (Horror)

August 6: Monrak Transistor (Romance)
