The most memorable day of my life was when I was selected for the cultural tour of France. It was the happiest day of my life. The GERS Himalayan Association had arra-nged for a trip for five students of the Suryodaya Secondary Sch-ool along with the principal and a teacher for 18 days.

Our main objective was to exchange views on culture and education. We were very impressed by the welcome we received. We started our tour with visits with the mayors and other dignitaries of different villages in GERS region of southern Fra-nce. We were amazed by the education system the sch-ools of France. We performed Nepali songs and dances in various places as part of the cultural tour.

It gave me pleasure to visit places like Auch, Ordan Larroque and other beautiful places.

The view of the Pyrenes Mountain and Atlantic Ocean thrilled me. The meeting with the former French ambassador was really an honour for us.
