Thrills with Spiderman
Someone was tapping my back. I turned and saw Venom, the Hob goblin. My hair stood on end to see his huge ugly eyes.
Then in a flash came a superhero. Can you guess who? Yes, the neighbourhood hero - Spiderman.
He held me and jumped from building to another, swinging on his web. I stared at him with eager eyes that wanted to ask many questions. After reaching a safe place, I asked him, “How do you release your web?”
He replied, “You know the middle finger and the ring finger, don’t you? So press them on your palm and see the magic.”
I did so, and to my surprise, I saw the web that was released from my wrist.
I asked him about his family, rivals and everything. He replied unhesitatingly. Sorry to say, but I had never listened so attentively in class.
Then we flew to many places. I could only keep repeating, “Spiderman, you are my hero!”
But the worst thing that could ever happen did happen ultimately. As we swung from one high building to another, I banged myself on one of the windows of a house. I woke up instantly.
My mother was sitting beside me. She asked me, “Why were you shouting - Spiderman, you are my hero?”
I laughed heartily and replied, “Mum, this is my secret.”
Oh sorry! This not my, but our secret, no?
