Kathmandu:

Both the actors are great; one looks like a Greek god and the other one is full of talent. Girls have done pretty good for the roles they were offered, both look charming, chic and sexy. Songs are awesome, foot tapping and peppy. Locations are beautiful and actors in comic roles are hilarious, but yet the movie fails to deliver what was expected.

Throughout the movie one can’t help thinking if they are going to make a copy then they better do it properly. After all, the whole concept has been lifted from the Hollywood Block Buster Hitch, the story line is similar and even the dialogues are similar. They’ve added a couple of good songs (well choreographed), couple of comic actors and an unnecessary character, son of Naina (Lara Dutta).

Govinda is a better actor and dancer than Salman Khan any day and the movie proves it. With his funny expressions and witty one-liners it is Govinda who holds the audience throughout the movie. Prem (Salman Khan) is predictable as the ‘Love Guru’ who helps guys to make their dream girls fall in love with them. He has attitude but he lacks the suave and classy style that Will Smith had in Hitch.

He helps Bhaskar (Govinda) to woo Priya (Katrina) while he himself is smitten by Naina. The story revolves around the simple and geeky Bhaskar trying to win the love of multi millionaire and successful Priya and how in between Prem himself tries to win over Naina, the single mom.

Salman looks good and manages to do a pretty good job, but the show stealer is Govinda. He proves it once more that real talent can’t go unnoticed, and this could be his comeback movie. Rajpal Yadav as Chota Don who is a cricket fan has done a marvellous job and is successful in making the audience laugh every time he appears on the screen. Another brilliant performance is by Suresh Menon who looks very natural in his role as a gay wedding planner. Music by Salim-Sulaiman duo is full of dance numbers, especially Hogaya re hogaya and Soni ke nakhre promises to make it to dance parties.

For all those who have been waiting to see Govinda do his comic magic onscreen, your wait is over.
