Tiny robots made for surgery

Scientists are working on a family of tiny robots that could be used to perform minor internal operations. Each is about 15 millimetres wide and doctors are testing them in operations on

animals. One has a camera attached so surgeons can see what’s going on inside the body, while another has a tiny needle to make small cuts thro-ugh tissue. The robots are remote-controlled and are so sm-all they give doctors a good look at what they’re doing. — Agencies

Earth-like planet found Scientists have discovered the most Earth-like planet ever seen close to the centre of the Milky Way. The planet shows similarities to earth because it’s cool and made of rock and ice but conditions there are thought to be too cold for life to survive. It shares the same galaxy as Earth but is three times further away from its sun than the Earth is from our sun. Experts say it shows planets like Earth are more common than we thought and we may not be alone.
