To Sir, with love
I joined Budhanilkantha School in 1998. Seven year later, I have completed my education and its already time to say good-bye. These seven years have been the most wonderful years of my life. Besides education my school gave a lot to me, which I think I will not be able to repay throughout my life.
Quality education is what I received at Budhanilkantha School. Although the teachers here are highly qualified, they are equally friendly with us. However silly the questions we come up with are, they are always ready with the answer.
Above all, they know the best method to teach us making the classes an interesting. Our Physics class with Mr K Khulal is memorable because throughout the year I never felt bored in his class. In fact, I never realised how time passed during his class because it were highly interesting. I wish we could have more teachers just like him.
I also got to learn to play many new games. In fact, I didn’t even know that some of the games even existed until I joined this school. At Budhanilkantha School we don’t have day scholars. Everyone is supposed to stay in hostel. This is good because hostel life has taught me to live independently. Although I didn’t have to cook food or wash my utensils and so forth, I learnt many practical things.
We are one big family here because there are almost 1,000 students living within the school premises. Teachers, too, live in the school compound. It is here that I have learnt to socialise. It is a well-known fact that students from all over the country come here to study. This has given me a fantastic opportunity to get to know people from different communities and religions as well as have many good friends.
