Travel company palns Julia Roberts eat, pray, love tour
LONDON: Fans of Oscar winner JULIA ROBERTS will soon be able to follow the actress around the world thanks to an enterprising Las Vegas travel company.
Bosses at Spirit Quest Tours have created the Eat, Pray, Love tour for those wishing to visit the religious sites and locations in Elizabeth Gilbert's bestseller of the same name, which has been turned into a new Roberts film.
The week-long Bali tour, set for May 2010, includes palm readings by Ketut Liyer, who was featured in Gilbert's book, a vitamin lunch at Wayan's tiny restaurant and a visit to Hindu temples the author and Roberts toured.
Hindu statesman Rajan Zed is thrilled about the idea and has offered to advise the travel company.
He says, "Gilbert's bestselling memoir is about her self-discovery and soul-searching after her nasty divorce, exploring through India, Italy, and Indonesia - a journey which is pleasurable as well as enlightening."
