A taxi firm in China is with drawing ‘unlucky’ cabs with the number four in the number plate, to boost the chances of Shanghai students passing exams. The number four is thought very unlucky by many Chinese people because it sounds a lot like the word ‘to die’. In the past parents have complained about students using the ‘unlucky taxis’. So Shanghai Dazhong taxi company agreed to take them off the road.
