Visually stunning Star Wars awakens you

It takes a good direction and a well written script to helm an entertaining and engaging film. Add spectacular special effects to it, you are in for some treat. The new instalment of Star Wars franchise — Star Wars: The Force Awakens is just that.
At galaxy far, far away, First Order under the leadership of Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) is taking over the galaxy. Up against it are the Resistance and its soldiers and pilots. And in the tussle of evil and good rises Finn (John Boyega) who leaves his bad side as stormtrooper (soldiers of First Order) and scavenger Rey (Daisy Ridley) who is independent and fearless with good technical skills.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a very good paced film levelled with good actions and fights, good moments of drama, nuanced humour and excitement and stunning visuals. The film is a visually beautiful and the 3D effects takes you to their galaxy.
There is not much of a plot but whatever it has, that has been executed well to watch. But JJ Abrams made it addictive and gripping. The film is thrilling. And the cast is fresh but capable. Kylo Ren portrayed by Driver in long back cloak and heavy mask is intimidating. Moreover, you have interesting characters like Poe’s (Oscar Isaac), cute droid (a robot) BB-8, funny Finn and feisty find of the film, Rey who give dimension to the film. Ridley as Rey is a kicka** female protagonist and the young actress has done a remarkable job to outdo her role.
The seventh episode of Star Wars also takes a nostalgia trip to enhance the film by adding original characters of the film. And it has worked. Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher have reprised their roles as Han Solo and Leia Organa respectively which is a treat to the Star Wars fans. The appearances of Chewbacca and droids — C-3PO, R2-D2 alongside the original characters of Star Wars adds to that happiness.
However, there are few answers that are unanswered about the characters and circumstances but they are perhaps likely to be answered in the next instalment. As of now, watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens. With good visuals and actions, it is a good entertainer.
