Sunway University College (formerly Sunway College) was formed with the belief and understanding that higher education is vital to the progress of the Nation. The institution received an auspicious start in 1987 when the late Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Hisamuddin Alam Shah Alhaj Sultan of Selangor Darul Ehsan officially opened it.

International Students

Sunway University College welcomes international students and currently, 25 per cent of our international students enrolled in various programmes are from more than 57 different nations. We have long recognised that international students provide a unique flavour to the overall educational experience and seek to ensure that they receive only the best education experience.

Accommodation

Most of our international students stay on-campus in the hostel provided. Others live in off-campus apartments or rented houses. Rented accommodation in Malaysia generally ranges in price from RM200 for a room to RM1,800 for a fully furnished air-conditioned apartment. The estimated living expenses for one year in Malaysia amounts to RM10,000 which includes

accommodation, food, books, allowances and other miscellaneous items.
