Actress Rene Zellweger, star of hits like Bridget Jones’s Diary, sparked rumours when she was seen having an intimate talk with Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney.

The two were spotted sitting close to each other as they attended a concert together. At one time their faces were just inches apart and seemed completely engrossed in each other, mirror.co.uk reported.

“Renee hung on his every word. She has a history of dating musicians and Sir Paul’s a legend and single,” said an onlooker.

Zellweger recently spilt from her singer husband Keneny Chesey and McCartney divorced Heather Mills two years ago.

McCartney was at the concert with ex-model Christie Brinkley, who he has been linked to, and observers said his talking constantly with Zellweger left her very angry. McCartney’s friends, however, dismiss any gossip of a romance saying, “Nothing’s going on. He was there with relatives and got chatting to Renee.”
