Winslet warns journos

LONDON:

Actress Kate Winslet has threatened British journalists saying she will attack them if they ever report she is a bad mother. According to contactmusic.com, the press slammed her when she separated from her first husband Jim Threapleton in 2003 when her daughter was still a baby. She was accused of abandoning the child and is still hurt by the experience. She said: “People can throw anything at me they want and be as mean as they like, but don’t mess with me as a mother, because I will get out a knife and come after you. It’s really not fair. It’s a vulnerable time. I was very young — I was 25. It was really, really hard.” — Agencies
