NAWALPARASI, OCTOBER 18
At least 42 persons were injured after a passenger they were travelling on overturned on the East West Highway in Madhyabindu Municipality-10 of Nawalparasi East, today.
According to police, the incident occurred when the bus (Lu 1 Kha 9476), en route to Kathmandu from Nawalparasi skidded off the road and overturned in a forest between Arunkhola and Dumkibas injuring 42 passengers.
Of the injured, 37 receiving treatment at District Hospital while five others are undergoing treatment at a Dumkibas-based health post, informed police.
All of the injured are said to be out of danger.
