KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 7
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecast partly cloudy conditions across the country today.
For tonight, partly cloudy skies are expected over Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, while the remaining provinces are likely to see mainly fair weather. Light rain or snowfall is possible at one or two locations in the high-mountain and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpashchim.
According to the department, the current weather pattern is being influenced by westerly winds affecting the country.
City-wise forecast
Jumla: Partly cloudy this afternoon with temperatures between 18–20°C. Tonight, partly cloudy with a chance of light rain; temperatures expected to drop to –4 to –2°C with a 20% chance of precipitation.
Jomsom: Partly cloudy today with temperatures ranging from 14–16°C. Light rain/snow likely tonight; temperatures between –1 to 1°C and 20% chance of precipitation.
Kathmandu: Morning mist with daytime temperatures of 17–19°C. Partly cloudy tonight with temperatures between 6–8°C.
