KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 19
Light rain and snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning are possible at isolated places in Nepal's Himalayan region and the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces on Monday, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
Partly cloudy conditions are expected in the Himalayan and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, as well as the Himalayan regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces. The hilly regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim and the Terai are likely to have mainly fair weather.
Pokhara, Dhankuta and Taplejung may receive light rain with thunderstorms, with a 20 per cent probability of rain forecast for each city.
In Kathmandu, partly cloudy weather is expected, with temperatures ranging from 12 to 14 degrees Celsius overnight and reaching 24 to 26 degrees Celsius on Monday.
Morning mist is likely at a few places in the Terai, including Dhangadhi, Bhairahawa, Simara, Biratnagar and Janakpur.
