The weather across Nepal is expected to remain clear in most parts of the country, with partly to generally cloudy conditions in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Madhes provinces, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).

Light rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, has been reported at one or two locations in Koshi and Madhes provinces, influenced by a westerly low-pressure system and local winds.

By this afternoon, Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are likely to experience partly to generally cloudy skies, while other provinces will remain clear. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in some areas of Koshi and Bagmati provinces, and one or two places in Madhes and Gandaki provinces. Additionally, light snowfall may occur at higher elevations in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

Tonight, partly cloudy conditions are expected in Koshi Province, while the rest of the country will remain mostly clear. There is a chance of light rain with thunder and lightning at one or two locations in Koshi Province, along with light snowfall in high-altitude areas.
