BHAKTAPUR: A person has been critically injured in a fire incident at Madhyapur Municipality-6 in Bhaktapur district today.

The injured has been identified as Bidur Ale of Sindhupalchok district, currently residing in a rented room in Madhyapur Thimi.

Ale is receiving treatment at the Burn Centre in Kirtipur.

The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained while the detail on the loss of property is awaited, according to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Prajwal Maharjan said that investigation into the case was underway.
