KATHMANDU: A man was injured after the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by a bus in Sunakothi of Lalitpur district on Saturday.

The injured has been identified as motorcyclist Sunil Tamang (17) of Trishuli in Nuwakot, currently residing in Sunakothi of Lalitpur.

According to police, the incident occurred when the bus (Ba 2 Kha 4197) hit the motorcycle (Ba 51 Pa 2736) at 7:00 pm yesterday, injuring him.

Tamang was rushed to Patan Hospital where he has been undergoing treatment there, informed police.

Meanwhile, Chapagaun-based Metropolitan Police Circle has impounded the bus and detained its driver for further investigation, said police.
