KATHMANDU: A man was killed and another was injured in a minitruck accident at Jammu Danda of Jorpati on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Prabin Neupane (21) of Ranibas in Sindhuli, informed police.

Police said pillion rider Sushil Neupane was injured when the motorcycle (Ba 36 Pa 711) they were riding on was hit by the truck (Ba 2 Kha 2899) at around 8:15 am today.

Sushil is currently being treated at the Shankarapur Hospital in Jorpati.

The Metropolitan Police Circle, Bouddha, has impounded the vehicle and detained the driver.
