Naresh Maharjan (17) died yesterday after taking a poisonous drink. Maharjan, a resident of the KMC-9, was declared dead at Patan Hospital, police said.

Meanwhile, Shree Krishna Khanal (21), a resident of Manamainju VDC-9, tried to kill himself by taking poisonous drink yesterday. He has been admitted to TU Teaching Hospital and his condition is reported to be critical.

Bike thief held

The Valley police arrested a person on charge of stealing a motorcycle. "Karma Gurung, resident of Mhepi, Kathmandu, has been arrested while he was trying to hide the stolen bike," police said.

Body found

An unidentified body of a man was found yesterday on the balcony of a house owned by Man Bahadur Maharjan at Manamaiju VDC-8. Police investigation is on.
