KATHMANDU: Police arrested 12 people for their alleged involvement in illegal hundi business, from different parts of the Capital on Wednesday.

One of the suspects has been identified as Shankar Lal Kothari (50), a resident of New Road, KMC-22.

A total of NRs 2.6 million, USD 711 and 1.44 tola gold along with 115 tola silver was confiscated from their possession, police said.

Police said they are investigating into the case.
