KATHMANDU: A minor has allegedly hanged herself at the squatters' settlement in Sinamangal of KMC-9 on Saturday.

Police said the body of 12-year-old Asmita Nepali, a permanent resident of Makaibari-7 of Dolakha district, was found hanging with a rope at her hut.

Meanwhile, police have sent the body to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for autopsy and are looking into the case.
