KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday arrested 15 persons for their alleged involvement in selling date-expired medicines from Harisiddhi of Lalitpur.

The suspects were mobilised by the NCH Medicine Shop located on the premises of Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Harisiddhi, LSMC-30, police claimed.

Acting on a tip-off that the pharmacy was selling expired drugs, police had swung into action.

Further investigation is underway.
