KATHMANDU: Gold Jewellery were reportedly stolen from a room in Liga Marg of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-14, on Tuesday.

According to police, an unidentified gang broke in the rented room of Bimala Thapa, a permanent resident of Ikhu in Chautara Muncipality-8 of Sindhupalchok district and decamped with around 15 tolas of gold ornaments worth Rs 816,000 yesterday.

The investigation into the case is underway, said police.
