KATHMANDU: Police arrested two persons from different places of the Kathmandu Valley for their alleged involvement in khukuri attacks.

Narayan Acharya (42) of Suryabinayak Municipality-4 was nabbed for attacking Sabika Twaya Basu (31) of Kamalbinayak, Bhaktapur with a khukuri on her head on Tuesday.

Basu has been taken to the B&B Hospital in Gwarko for treatment.

Similarly, Santosh Limbu of Naikap was arrested for attacking Lal Bahadur Gholan (24) of Bara, currently living in chandragiri-20 and Shreeram Khatri (27) with a khukuri at Baniya Gaun, Chandragiri-20.

A group of four to five persons, including Limbu, had attacked the duo with the sharp weapon yesterday, police said.

The injured are being treated at the Sahid Memorial Hospital, Kalanki.

Police said that they are searching for other persons involved in the attack.
