KATHMANDU: Police arrested two persons, including one who returned from the Gulf , in possession of 18 tolas of gold-like metal from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Saturday.

Police said that Tilok Singh Yakkha (32) of Khuwafoka-2 of Dhankuta was nabbed in possession of eight tolas of gold-like metal.

Yakkha had landed at the TIA from Qatar.

Police said that he was arrested from the parking area of TIA.

Similarly, Durga Paudel (64) was arrested in possession of 10 tolas of gold-like metal.

It has been learned that the metal was sent by his son from Dubai.

Police said that they are looking into both cases.
