2 held with pharmaceutical drugs
KATHMANDU: Police on Tuesday apprehended two persons in possession of pharmaceutical drugs from Nagdhunga of Kathmandu.
The suspects have been identified as Pradeep Kumar Malla (20) of Sunwal Municipality-8 in Nawalparasi district and Rajesh Mukhiya (26) of Basantapur VDC in Parsa district.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team under the command of Inspector Sunil Dahal of the Nagdhunga Check Post nabbed Malla with 3,000 pieces of Nefopam tablets from a bus (Lu 1 Kha 7195) en route to Kathmandu from Bhairahawa , this morning.
Similarly, Mukhiya was arrested with 204 pieces of Nefopam tablets from a bus (Na 5 Kha 4684).
Police said that they are looking into the case.
