KATHMANDU: Police arrested two persons in possession of pharmaceutical drugs from Mahalaxmisthan, Lalitpur, on Friday.

The suspects have been identified as Bishnu Rana (29) of Chitwan and Nawaraj Bhujel (26) of Okhaldhunga.

Both of them are currently residing at Tutepani, Lalitpur.

Police said that they have confiscated four pieces each of Diazepam, Phenargone and Nurphine tablets from their possession.

The duo were nabbed while they were consuming the drugs at a public place in Mahalaxmisthan, Lalitpur, police said.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
