KATHMANDU: Police arrested two people in possession of controlled drugs from Chandragiri Municipality-8 of Kathmandu on Saturday.

The two arrestees have been identified as Sachin Deula of Chandragiri Municipality-17, and Nathu Ram Yadav from Simara-4 of Saptari. Yadav is staying at a rented room Chandragiri Municipality-8.

Acting on suspicion, police had frisked Deula to find 50 capsules of Ramazol, 25 tablets of Clobazam and cash Rs 10,000.

After learning tat he got the drugs from Yadav, police raided his room and found 1,550 capsules of Ramazol, 193 tablets of Clobazam, 3,275 tablets of 0.5 mg Clobazam, 350 tablets of 0.25 mg Clobazam.

Police said they are investigating into the case.
