KATHMANDU: Police said that a man was caught with in possession of 3 kg marijuana on Wednesday.

The 40-year-old Purna Bahadur Tamang is a resident of Gokarneshwor Municipality-1 of Kathmandu.

Tamang had hid the weed in Urmila Tamang(23)'s house at Thulo Gaun, Budhanilakantha Municipality-4 of the Capital, police said.

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old Niki Shahi was arrested for possessing controlled drugs from Gabahal Chok of Lalitpur on Wednesday.

When frisked, the police found 150 ampoules of Norphin, 124 ampoules of Phenargan, 15 ampoules of Nitrovit and two swords from the scooter (Ba 68 Pa 7092) of Shahi, a resident of Pulchok of Lalitpur.
