2 injured as bike hits cycle in Babarmahal
KATHMANDU: Two persons were injured when a motorcycle hit a bicycle at Babarmahal in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Cyclist Jamdar Prasad (33), an Indian national, currently living at Kalimati and Sumitra Tamang (23), who was riding pillion on the motorcycle, were injured in the incident, police said.
The motorcycle (Ba 73 Pa 8432) hit the bicycle at around 3:45 am today.
Prasad is being treated at the Bir Hospital while Tamang is undergoing treatment at the Baneshwor-based Civil Service Hospital.
Police said that they have impounded the motorbike and arrested its rider for investigation.
