KATHMANDU: Two persons were injured when a microbus hit a bike they were riding on at Jadibuti in Kathmandu on Friday.

The injured have been identified as bike rider Kumar Dahal (21) of Kavre and pillion rider Asim Dangal (16).

The microbus (Ba 1 Ja 7597) heading towards Koteshwor from Pepsicola hit the bike (Ba 61 Pa 2382) at around 10 pm yesterday.

The injured were initially taken to the Civil Service Hospital in Baneshwor and later referred to the New Road-based Trauma Centre for treatment, informed police.

Police said that they have impounded the microbus and arrested its driver for investigation.
