KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday arrested two persons in possession of 3.7 kg marijuana from a bus coming to Kathmandu from Dhading on Saturday.

Security personnel had found the contraband on the passenger bus (Ba 3 Kha 827) during a security check at Naagdhunga, Chandragiri Municipality-3 of Kathmandu today.

Police subsequently arrested the duo who were possessing the drug.

Meanwhile, two youth were arrested in possession of an illegal drug, weighing 200 gram, from Naya Baneshwor, KMC-34 on Friday.

The arrestees have been identified as Ram Krishna Tamang (22) from Nuwakot and Dipendra Gamal (23) from Makawanpur.

Police are looking into both the cases.
