BHAKTAPUR: More than 30 pedestrians were injured when a stray dog bit them in Bhaktapur on Sunday.

The dog ran amok and bit the pedestrians who were walking down the road at Sudal, Kamalbinayak and Chyamasingh, said Jiban Giri, one of the victims.

Of the injured, 34 were referred to the Teku Hospital from a Public Health Centre.

Later, local residents killed the dog, Giri said.
