KATHMANDU: Police arrested four persons in possession of 2.1 kg marijuana from various places of the Kathmandu Valley on Tuesday.

Suresh Chaudhary (29) of Dikpur-4 of Parsa, currently living in Kalimati and Anil Lama (18) of Myagdi-3, Kavre, presently residing in Naikap were nabbed in possession of 2 kg marijuana from Balkumari of Lalitpur on Wednesday.

Police nabbed them from a taxi (Ba 1 Ja 7023) during a regular security check.

Similarly, Bishal Pun (30) of Butwal Municipality-9 and Roshan Thapa (29) of Butwal Municipality-15, currently residing at Basundhara were nabbed with 100 gram marijuana from Baneshwor, Kathmandu, police said.

The duo, who were riding on a scooter (Lu 20 Pa 6302), were detained with the marijuana during a regular security check at around 8 pm.
