KATHMANDU: Police on Tuesday arrested four persons including a minor for their alleged involvement in selling fake gold from a guest house in Balaju of KMC-16.

Acting on a tip-off, a special police team depolyed from the Metropolitan Crime Division apprehended 52-year-old Jeet Bahadur Gurung of Gaidakot Municipality-1 in Nawalparasi district, 50-year-old Khadag Bahadur Gurung of Sulikot Municipality-1 in Gorkha district, 56-year-old Yagya Narayan Shrestha of Kalika Municipality-1 in Chitwan district and a minor.

Police also seized a gold alike metal weighting 994 gram from their possession.

Meanwhile, police said they are looking into the case.
