4th Jhamsikhel Street Festival 2019 held today

KATHMANDU: The “4th Jhamsikhel Street Festival 2019” organised by Jhamsikhel Youth Club has been observed, today, marking the start of Visit Nepal 2020.

The festival, which saw a participation of over 60,000 people, including foreign tourists, had featured rock concert, lok dohori, Nepali folk music and standup comedy shows and had more than 50 stalls ranging from food to textile, handicrafts, face painting, and carnival games

Minister for Home Affair - Ram Bahadur Thapa had inaugurated the festival earlier in the special ceremony.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Home Minister Thapa said that such festivals would help spread the message of Visit Nepal 2020, a government initiative to bring in two million tourists in the year 2020.
