5-day workshop on 'Right to Food' underway in Capital
KATHMANDU: Food-first Information and Action Network Nepal (FIAN Nepal), a member-based human rights organisation, on Tuesday organised an international workshop on Right to Food in the Capital recently.
Human rights activists from more than 50 countries affiliated with FIAN International have participated in the five-day event.
"The workshop discussed on food deprivation among people in national and international communities and ways to resolve the issue," informed Ashok Singh, director of FCAN Nepal.
Besides the workshop, FCAN International council meeting was also held in the Capital.
The organisation has been working to promote and advocate for the realisation of the human right to food in Nepal.
