Kathmandu, July 31:

Valley police yesterday arrested five persons for engaging in several theft cases in the valley.

Police said that Jiba Khadga, 21, of Ramechhap, Arun Ramtel, 19, of Sindhuli, Chiiring Sherpa, 17, from Dolakha, Hemanta Karki, from Makawanpur and Dek Bahadur Ramtel of Sindhuli were arrested from the valley. Police also seized Rs 6,000 in cash from them.
