5 Nepal Police personnel join UN Darfur mission

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police is sending five more police personnel to the United Nations Mission in Darfur of Sudan.

DIG Shyam Bahadur Khadka bid farewell to the team at a function in the Capital on Thursday.

Speaking at the function, DIG Khadka urged the new peacekeepers to carry out their duty with a high sense of will power and discipline.

The team comprising of five sub-inspectors would leave for Darfur on Sunday.
