KATHMANDU: As many as nine persons were arrested on the charge of illegal gambling from a house in Kalimati of KMC-13 on Monday.

Police arrested Ratna Shrestha and eight others red-handed from Shrestha's house and seized Rs 50,630 cash.

Police also confiscated a deck of cards from the gambling site.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
