Kathmandu, April 23:
In a press meet organised by the Nepalese Federation of Indigenous Students (NFIS) today, Ramesh Tamu, general-secretary of the National Executive Committee stated that Lui Sang Waiba, the president of NFIS on Wednesday disapproved the ongoing five party agitation without consulting the federation members.
Tamu with the support of the Federal Council called a meeting yesterday to take action against Waiba for speaking against the five party agitation and ignoring the decision of the other members. Tamu stated that he, along with other federation members will hold a meeting soon to take action against Waiba.
Tamu stated that the country was in grave crisis as the political parties were agitating against the King’s move of October 4 while on the other hand, the CPN Maoists were indulging in an armed conflict. “The royal move has to be corrected and the country’s present constitution has to rewritten,” he said adding, “The present government was irrational and biased.”
