Aftershock felt in Kathmandu Valley in wee hours
KATHMANDU: A significant tremor was felt in the Kathmandu Valley at around 1:27 am in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
The National Seismological Centre said it was a light aftershock of the April 25 earthquake. It was of local magnitude 4.4 with its epicentre in neighbouring Sindhupalchok district.
An aftershock of local magnitude 4.6 was also recorded about 24 hours ago by the National Seismological Centre. It's epicentre was in Dhading and recorded at 1:49 am yesterday.
