Former PMs and CPN-UML senior figures Madhav Nepal, Jhalanath Khanal absent at the meeting
KATHMANDU, MARCH 16
An all-party meeting called by President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Tuesday evening to discuss contemporary political issues has concluded.
Senior figures from seven parties represented at the Lower House of the Federal Parliament -- CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Centre), Nepali Congress, Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal, Rashtriya Janamorcha, Nepal Majdoor Kisaan Party and Rashtriya Prajatantra Party -- had attended the discussions held at the offical residence of the President, Shital Niwas.
Former Prime Ministers too were invited to the meeting.
However, former PMs Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal did not attend the same.
The duo were also absent at the tea-party hosted by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in Baluwatar earlier today.
