Alleged drug peddler nabbed

KATHMANDU: Police on Monday arrested an alleged drug peddler from Dilli Bazaar of Kathmandu.

The 24-year-old Devendra Bista, a permanent resident of Jagannathga-2 of Bajura district, was nabbed by a team deployed from the Narcotics Control Bureau today.

Police said he would sell brown heroin in the Kathmandu Valley.

Bista was dragged into the case after police on December 10 last year had arrested Rajesh Ghaju (34) from his shop in Shankhamul, KMC-34, in possession of the contraband.

Ghaju during the investigation had informed police that Bista was supplying the illegal drug to his shop.

Further investigation is underway.
