Kathmandu, May 20 :

The Association of the Nepalese Indigenous Nationalities Journalists (ANIJ) today felicitated its outgoing president Chandra Singh Kulung at a function. Sociologist Dr Krishna Bhattachan felicitated him handing over a letter of appreciation to Kulung, who is the founder president of ANIJ. At the function founder treasurer Ajit Man Tamang was also felicitated.

Speaking at the function Dr Bhattachan said: “The role of media for the overall development of indigenous nationalities has been proved crucial with the advent of the ANIJ.”

He praised all the members of the ANIJ for their contribution.
