Kathmandu, December 19:

The two-day 20th conference of the Kathmandu district committee of All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) ended here today by electing a 39-member executive committee under the leadership of Bina Magar.

The conference elected Navaraj Tamang and Bijaya Dev Bhattarai as vice-presidents, Kedar Khadiwada as secretary, Badri Chudal as joint secretary and Chiranjivi Dhakal as treasurer.

ANNISU-R president Lekhnath Neupane said the union was against the current system of Free Students’ Union in colleges.
