Arjun Bahadur Singh appointed Nepali Ambassador to South Korea

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Friday appointed Arjun Bahadur Singh as an Ambassador to the Republic of South Korea on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.

Similarly, President Bhandari also appointed Tara Prasad Pokhrel, Nepal's Ambassador to Brazil, as the non-resident Ambassador to Chile and Paraguay.

The head of the state made the appointment in accordance with the Article 282.1 of the Constitution of Nepal, according to a press statement issued by the President's Office today.

President Bhandari made the decision before embarking on a five-day official visit to Thailand and Sri Lanka.
