Dr Balaram Joshi Gyan-Bigyan Rastriya Puraskar Academy on Sunday announced the names of the recipients of various awards for the year 2063. The meeting of the executive committee conferred Dilliram Baba, 90, with Dr Balaram Joshi Gyan Bigyan Rastriya Puraskar for his contribution for preservation of the sacred Devghat. Prof Jagannatha Tripathi has been awarded the Dr Balaram Joshi Suyogya Sikshak award for his contribution in the field of education. The academy also announced to give Shree Chandra Kumari Himalayaraj Joshi Swastha Kosh worth Rs 25,101 to Aryaghat Health Centre. At the same time, Deep Kumari Pitambar Prasad Panta Samaj Sewa Kosh worth Rs 25,101 has been given to Matatirtha Old-age Home. The academy has also decided to provide financial support to three schoolgirls with Rs 5,000 each from this year.
